The programme will explore the unique anatomical, medical, behavioural and accessibility considerations involved in treating para-athletes, alongside sessions on trauma management, preventive strategies, interdisciplinary collaboration and delivering truly inclusive care in both elite and community settings. Delegates can expect evidence-based education combined with practical clinical insights that can be implemented immediately in practice.\n\nA highlight of the day will be a dedicated athlete Q&A session, offering delegates the opportunity to hear directly from a para-athlete about their lived experience of sport, healthcare, performance pressures and the importance of multidisciplinary support. This interactive segment will provide invaluable perspective, bridging the gap between theory and real-world impact.\n\nThe conference welcomes dentists, DCPs, students, technicians, sports medics and allied healthcare professionals for a full day of forward-thinking education and meaningful networking. As always, this is more than a conference, it is an experience. The day will conclude with a formal conference dinner followed by live attendance at para powerlifting at the Commonwealth Games, allowing delegates to witness elite para-athletes perform at the highest level and reflect on the vital role healthcare plays behind the scenes.\n\n
