Originally from South Africa, he completed specialist training in Prosthodontics before becoming principal of a specialist referral practice in Johannesburg, while also contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and specialist training at the University of the Witwatersrand.\n\nSince relocating to the UK in 2022, he has held senior academic appointments at both the UCL Eastman Dental Institute and the Edinburgh Dental Institute. Noland is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
