What is the Flying Start Programme?

The Flying Start Programme is a year-long initiative designed for dentists who have qualified within the last five years. It combines high-quality education with valuable networking opportunities, providing CPD with a programme value of £5,000, fully funded by Clyde Munro.

Through a series of carefully designed training days, participants will develop practical skills, enhance their clinical confidence and build connections with peers and experienced clinicians.

About the weekend

Elevate your surgical skills at our Oral Surgery weekend delivered by Dr Tamer Theodossy a Consultant Oral Surgeon with 20 years experience in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

This weekend is packed with lectures and hands-on sessions. Join our comprehensive oral surgery weekend to master key topics essential for modern practice. Our lectures will cover fundamental instruments and extraction techniques for efficient and atraumatic procedures, along with effective flap design and suturing for optimal healing. We'll also dive into local anaesthetic techniques and doses to ensure patient safety and comfort.

You'll learn to manage complex cases, including wisdom teeth and X-rays, confidently and safely navigate surgical procedures for patients on antiplatelets and anticoagulants. Finally, we will provide the latest insights on diagnosing and managing MRONJ.
