Our latest cohort of trainee dental nurses recently met up for an action-packed induction day as part of the STRIVE programme, and the energy was incredible!
From mastering the essentials to dreaming about the future, here is a look at what our recruits got up to:

• Back to Basics: Kicking things off with a deep dive into Hand Hygiene—the foundation of excellent patient care.
• Inspiring Journeys: We heard from Cheryl Stewart and Laura Katie Lea Wood, who shared their personal career paths. It’s amazing to see where a career in dentistry can take you!
• The Big Picture: A fantastic presentation from Gemma Summers and a dedicated session on Career Progression for Dental Nurses.                                                                                                                At Clyde Munro, the induction is just the beginning.

Most importantly, we spent time listening to our trainees' views on the programme and what they’re looking forward to most about their new role!
