Guided Biofilm Therapy with Sophie McInnes from EMS
Full day with hands on training - lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Learning Aims/ Objectives expected are:
Understand biofilm’s impact on oral and systemic health
Discover GBT’s role in preventative dentistry and prophylaxis
Learn to use GBT in non-surgical periodontal treatment
Gain hands-on experience with AIRFLOW MAX, PERIOFLOW and PIEZON PS
Review clinical evidence and case studies supporting GBT
Position GBT as a practice builder to attract and retain patients
Engage with expert trainers and peers to optimize GBT in your practice
Describe the role of the dental hygienist/therapist in the assessment, treatment, and maintenance of a patient with dental implants.
Identify the equipment and materials necessary to provide adequate support to these patients.
Understand the necessary skills and knowledge to provide assessment, treatment and supporting care competently and confidently for these patients.
Understand when referral for more specialist care is necessary.

The A9 is the main trunk road into Perth. We are located in the centre of Perth with good transport links. Perth Train Station is a 10 minute walk away as is the main Bus Station. All day parking is available behind the Academy at Thimblerow car park, charges apply. The car park is only a 2 minute walk away. Entry to the Academy is via our Sure Smile Studio located ont he ground floor of 31 South Methven Street, Perth, PH1 5PE.

Delegate Terms and Conditions
Payment must be made prior to a booking being accepted.
If cancellation is more than 8 weeks before course start date, full refund will be given. Cancellation within 8 weeks of the course start date will incur 50% course fee. Cancellation within 4 weeks of the course start date will incur 100% course fee.
Non-attendees will be charged the full tuition fee. If Clyde Munro cancels the programme, the participant will be reimbursed the full tuition amount. Prior to that an administration fee of £50 will be charged. Clyde Munro reserves the right to alter the programme if there are circumstances beyond its control.
